I have decided to be pretty public on my decision to get breast augmentation. For any nay sayers, I don’t really need your negative opinions on any decisions on my body. It’s not a compliment to tell me I don’t need get breast implants. I don’t need to shave, wear makeup, color my hair, get piercings/tattoos, or any other kind of body mods…but I want to and it’s my decision, not yours.
That being said, I will be answering some FAQ:
1) What size are you? I am naturally a 34B.
2) What size are you going to? I chose 375cc mids so I will hopefully be roughly 34D or 36D
3) Gel or silicone? Each has their own pro and cons. I personally chose to go with gel to get the more natural look. If you’re reading this and trying to get answers for you PERSONALLY, it’s best to find a really good doctor (check their profiles and set up a consultation) to talk about what works best for you.
4) Incision? Again, there are multiple decisions (nipple, under breast, armpit, and navel) I chose to go under the breast. I was originally going through the nipple, but obviously having my nipples tattooed, I changed my mind.
5) Under or over muscle? I got it under my muscle to give it a more natural look and easier to get a mammography.
7) Recovery? I will actually be going back to my piercing job a little under a week after, but took off a little longer for my stocking job and already warned them that I would only be able to stock small things. There’s a lot more about recovery that can be found out via and can be discussed with your doctor.
8) Price) I paid $6,600 for gel inserts and $50 for medicine that my boyfriend picked up for me while I was in surgery.
9) How long did it take? I got there almost an hour and a half before my appointment (around 7:30am) and my appointment was at 9. The appointment wasn’t scheduled til 9, but I still had a lot of paperwork to fill out and do a lot of prep talks and change. I stripped down to my panties and wore a paper-like dress, shower cap, and awful paper slippers. I went under probably around 9:40 and woke up probably around 10:30.
10) What happens to your tattoos? I actually have to keep them wrapped for 48 hours. Therefore, I haven’t seen my chest or nipple tattoos. I’m assuming that my nipple tattoos have stretched a little. My artist already said she would retouch or work with them afterwards for free. I have very little concern about my owl tattoo though.
11) What does your family and boyfriend think about it? Neither exactly want me to get the procedure, but they are 100% of me doing what I want to my body.
12) Pain? Well, I ripped my ladies apart and stuffed shit in them..I’m not on top of the world right now…but it’s honestly, not as bad as I thought it was going to be. It’s mostly a pressure/weight on my chest and a little in my armpits. I’m taking 4 different kinds of medicines. I take my pain one about every 4 hours and 15 minutes before that I have one for nausea that the pain killer usually causes (although I’ve had 0 issues with fever or nausea that they said was pretty common…yet, this is still my first day). I also have an antibiotic and one if I get muscle spasms..which I haven’t experienced yet and hope not to.
13) Were you scared? Yes and no. I wasn’t terrified, just unsure of the unkown. Going under was a big one since this was my first procedure ever and it wasn’t bad at all. I remember laying down, breathing, and then I woke up lmao I only felt a little bit of pressure at that point and it took a minute or two to recoop.
14) Eating and drinking? I couldn’t eat or drink ANYTHING (including water) after midnight before my surgery (like a gremlin lmao) but I was free to eat and drink (no alcohol or smoking) afterwards. It was suggested to no eat greasy food.
15) When will you be shooting again? It really depends on how they heal. There’s no exact time, but I’m hoping to be shooting again by February. They say it takes 3 or 6 month to settle and up to a year to fully drop.
