just finished up my first week at a new job. i'm the legal assistant to a young bankruptcy attorney...talk about aa pretty scary job!!! ha!!! Anyway, at first I was going to continue to look for a job because the pay is not really what I want (or could or should) be making...however, I really like the people I work with and for AND they are willing to work around my school schedule. AAANANNNNNDDDd they will give me insurance even though I'm only part time help. not too many employers will do that. Walmart doesn't do it, Zales doesn't do it, no big corporation i have ever worked for did it. PLUS, my boss is a total surfer. (he has only missed 3 days so far this year.) which means if i call in late because of good swell, he won't care cuz he probably isn't there to take the call anyway.
I was feeling a bit out of place when I first got here. However, slowly but surely, I am working out the kinks and getting back into my old habits.

Now if I could only get those stupid military movers to get my damn board out here so I can get my butt out to the line up....
