so i go into work to day to find out that Zales (who owns Piercing Pagoda) decided to close my store. No notice, no severence pay, not even a piece of fuckin dog shit. That's six people laid off right before christmas. They could have placed us in a zales, or gordon's or something. but nope. just a "we're sorry" and see ya fuckin later.
i will never buy from Zales, Gordon's, Piercing Pagoda, Plum Gold, Silver Connection or any other store owned by Zales ever again.
My regional manager had the nerve to ask me what i was going to do now. I looked at her and said" file for fuckin unemployment. What am i supposed to do? you leave me no choice. you can either pay me to work or pay me to sit at home and play video games.
The guy at EB games offered me a seasonal spot and possible transfer to cali store, but I'd only make min. wage and it is a 45 min. drive one way....that would barely cover my gas expenses, if that. i just really don't know what to do.
