Pets are always the best friends you could have My cat will, when its cold, actually lay on top of me while i sleep. Bare in mind, i sleep on my side, so he's perched when he does it....according to my girlfriend it is "ridiculously cute".

I do have to agree with some of the people here though, chinese crested are strange looking dogs, but they can be really cute because of it.

Such are the milestones of marrying an officer and having an officer marry an NCO. You are correct though, that the regulations do not allow same-unit bondings, the new regs say officers can't marry NCO's (active duty), but no regs state it is a NO GO between military branches (active duty, NG, reserves, etc.).

there is nothing worse than being trapped in the cell of your own mind. The boredom and the lack of sleep get me all the time too.

I think your math is a bit off. Did you mean to say 1% of rapist and child molesters are homosexual? Cause the other way around could actaully mean a lot higher percentage of rapist and child molesters are homosexual? I think anyone fit (phyically and mentally) enough to perform in the military and who wants to should be allowed to join.

it is past time for the army to drop its bullshit traditions of buddy buddy and dont ask dont tell... it is the amazing and beautiful people like you that suffer the consequenses of the backward thinking that seems to pervade the army and other branches of the military.
i am so happy for you that you are working through and past this horrible thing that happened to you. and wish you all the luck and happiness in the world in the future and with your new fiance. i can only hope that he is better then the last guy!
