Okay so everybody has their favorite music lists... so now it's my turn to make a list of random albums that totally blew me away...
in alphabetical order:
Beck - Midnite Vultures. Weird, quirky electronic music, and funky as hell!
David Bowie - Hunky Dory. Beautiful, bittersweet soundscapes that take you to another time.
Chris Connelly - Shipwreck. Though I love all his albums, this was the one I always turned to for comfort in my darkest moments.
Lovage - Music to Make Love to Your Old Lady By. One crazy collaboration that led to some incredibly funny and sexy songs.
Peter Murphy - Dust. Sure, everybody knows him from his work with Bauhaus, but who would have guessed he would someday fuse his goth sensibillities with traditional turkish styles? The end result - even greater dark delights!
Type O Negative - October Rust. A true goth-metal classic. Gets my vote for the sexiest album ever.
VNV Nation - Empires / Futureperfect. One of the most inspirational and kickass electronic projects of all time.

I got some questions for ya, go check out my journal.
And VNV Nation. And Wolfsheim. But have you heard of
De/vision? If not, Get the albums "Two" and the new kickass
"6 Feet Underground". Believe me, they will leave you awash in emotion. And yes, I'm aware of how cheesy that sounds. Oh, and hi.
