My story was about how I ended up getting chased out of Memphis by a bunch of hicks.

I pretty much just wrote the month of February off, financially speaking. Now that the shortest and and most painfully slow month is over I can start saving money again.

I'm reading this short story thing in class on wednesday. I've never read anyhting I've written in public before, so this should be an experience.

Jjust finished reading Bukowski's Post Office. Not the first book by him i've read, but probably my favorite so far.

Been wondering these days alot about whether ot not it might be time for a major change. Do I have the balls to just let go and see what happens?

I've returned from New Orleans in one piece.

Some highlights: Beating my entire family at Texas Holdem, driving the droptop Caddy through the Quarter, shooting guns at Delacroix island at 6am, that fucking tweeker in the mustang, discussing irregardless with Susan Eatabagadicks.

I want to move back home every time I visit, but I guess i've still got a few years left in SF....

My powerbook's battery is on the apple recall list. Just one more htinng to do before I head home.

Hopefully New Orleans won't ahve changed too much. Last time I was there my neighborhood had totally changed. Don't get me wrong, I don't miss the St. Thomas projects or anything, but they did keep the rent down.

Not like I'l probably ever live there again.

In a few short days I'll be back in home territory: The bog, NOLA, the big cheesey. I'm a week late for Mardi Gras, but I think I've seen enough of them. Maybe next year I'lll roll in for that or Essence Festival.

I took this weekend off from work and stayed at a hotel downtown with my girlfriend. The streets look so diiferent at night and it makes me a little bit sad that i spend so much time nailed to a bar.
