On and off again I've joked about going into politics. Most of my remaining friends simply laugh, pointing to my checkered past as an immediate disqualifier. To them I say fuck off. I am smart, capable, and full of righteous indignation.
It's not like I want to be the Pope. Maybe Senator, or Jesse Jackson's VP running mate in the 2036 election.
I point to my personal charisma and ability to kick ass in verbal and physical battles as proof of my electibility. I can read at at least an eight grade level and my Mom loves me. Plus I have never been convicted of any serious drug offenses.
Unfortunately the way the moral climate is headed, it will be an issue that I do not go into churches unless I am looking at art (Church art is my favorite). Even though I'm down with JC and have read his bestseller cover to cover I'm not in the fundy click.
