yeah, I wonder who the hell reads my journal, I long ago stopped putting long personal essays there and keep it brief, interesting and to the point. but then, before I moved to the bay, nobody was reading mine.

I was just reading your thread complaining about the bar, is it really that dead on Fridays? I mean I know there was nobody there when I went over for the Onion party, but geez. if so my sympathies!

Alright Chad mate, I received an email from a friend that had googled us and came up with your PopiKoK comment. So I can see where you might have felt that way. I certainly was not happy. But you did not need to be a Cunt. You could further it by being descriptive or you could have spoken with me since all night you were serving drinks with a smile and we spoke after the show and you could see I was not happy. 1st you bastard the day of the travel up from LA my true bassist (Who is Japanese in mind as well as race and is brilliant on the bass which is our rhythm went missing. Not drug or flake related, he is not that guy at all and is a professional musician, but what turned out to be a very bad car wreck. So I had to find a bass player (Because I'm not the guy who will pull out of a show) and try to get him to learn not too difficult pieces but very difficult structure in 6 hours. Now this would maybe alright if my steady guitarist had not had his father die and returned to London having only a week to find a guy and get him to figure out the tracks. But he did not know them well enough to not be thrown off by the bass player and never playing with us live. It was my drummer and myself and the backround tracks which worked at soundcheck and left set up but were totally F5cked when we went up. I probably should have cancelled but I don't bail. That's what all musicians do and they look bad. So really do you think that it was really the worst you've ever heard? the vocals were fucked and did not cut through? I want you to listen to our tracks on www.myspace.com/PopiKoK or www.PopiKoK.com and look at the Fact we've played the House of Blues (twice), Avalon Hollywood (2000per 3 seperate times the last having our own night as the promoters) Viper, Whiskey, Hard Rock etc..... and pull your silly little comment off or email me at KoK@PopiKoK.com and lets talk about it. I'm not happy about the show. But don't be a cunt and bad mouth what you don't know yet. We will come up and play again because I need to erase the taint I have towards the experience. And All B.S. aside. Seriously I will List you where ever it may be and if you do not like it again feel free to write whatever you like. But this time under the circumstances be a good lad and have some compassion.
