i went to see some bands today
just locals

left the show when the last 2 bands were going to startt

i feel so old at shows

i know i'm only 26 but shit, everytime i go to a show kids are looking different, wearing shirts of bands i never heard of and i'm sure if i'd hear those bands i wouldnt like them.

only liked a cuple of the bands that played. the rest sounded just like everything else . it all sounded like a smoothie in a blender i guess. same ol same ol boring shit.

i remember back when i was younger and growing up in salt lake city, i used to get so annoyed at how the shows and the scene was so divided. now i miss that. i cant stand guys that got girl hair playing tuff guy music.

everything with piercings all over their faces. i dont mind a piercing or two but everyone looks like a fridge covered in magnets.

whats the point.

Thanks for commenting in my journal. I'm not much for going to shows these days, partly because nothing comes out to Missoula, but the locals are far too "elitist." It's that whole "punker than thou" attitude that gets me going. Hey, sometimes I like to not look like the cover of The Casualties albums, but that doesn't mean I'm a poser ruining the scene.

Sorry for the rant, but I agree with what you said.
