Well the fallout has settled to a cheery grey haze, and with any luck there won't be too many mutations from it. I didn't even punch anything.
One fence was mended, another seems pretty well torn asunder. She'll be missed.
Did the XMas shopping today. Not as painful as it could've been, mainly because I was able to pick up some decent books for my young cousins. They're getting into some good stuff, and I see no reason not to help them along. It'll be a few years before they get to the really good stuff, though I would like to see how they handle, oh, Hunter S. Thompson or Anthony Burgess.
Heh. But for now, they get stuff like Tolkien and Moorcock. Hobbits and a wacked out albino with a demonic pigsticker. Can't wait to hear about those book reports.
Before I check out, I'd like to take pause and remember Joe Strummer. Rest well... thanks for all the goodness.
