All sorts of smiling at the moment. Nothing in particular has happened and yet I can't help feeling things are on the up. What's really cool is that my mate Rachelle is feeling exactly the same so we found ourselves grinning like idiots on Saturday in the pub.
Ok so some things have happened that are good, they're not huge or amazing but I guess I'm just easily pleased! I only just made it to the one seminar I wanted to attend on Friday relating to jobs in the charity sector. It answered some of my questions, raised a few points I hadn't considered but largely didn't tell me anything I didn't know already. But that was cool, it was good to hear it from someone that knows something rather than positive thinking friends!
I then met up with a guy I'd met whilst traveling, although obviously I forgot where we were meeting and my phone had died. Luckily a nice guy in Carphone Warehouse let me charge it for a minute to find out! So we went for a drink and then I realized I had only had a muffin to eat all that day and was actually really hungry so we went for a meal. We ended up in La Tasca as it was the first place we came too and I didn't have a craving for anything in particular! but what I still can't get over is how much food we left! We didn't order huge amounts at all but still ended up leaving loads. A combination of wine and the conversation, yes I did say conversation not me talking, never stopping meant the food had gone cold and after a while we were just interested in the wine. So had a really fun evening and was a shame I had to dash off to get my last train.
Saturday, wow. I barely got through the rugby match with my nails intact! I think the description cat on a hot tin roof was used more than once. But we won so it was all good
Rach got a new job and things were just generally good! Home has been fairly quiet as well at the moment!
