In my time here on SG I have made many wonderful, amazing and caring friends. In fact, my current boyfriend as well as my best friends and roomies are people that came into my life because of this place so I know how many of you are just absolutely kickass human beings.
At the age of 17, my highschool friend Kieron broke his neck in a diving accident and became paralysed. He now speaks at schools about how one little decision can change your life and how important it is to think before you act. He doesn't know how proud of him I am because as with a lot of highschool friends, we have never really kept in frequent contact but I took 1 minute out of my day to help him and I'm hoping you can too, He is in the running to win $5000 towards a new wheelchair van to help him get around and make a difference in kids lives.
