Ok, So last night I went to SG Burlesque and what a fan-fucking-tastic show. I was totally sober for once so I remembered all of the evening. I would rave on and on about the show, but I don't want to give away their fabulous sets. All the girls rule. 2 words I'll share though......"pistol whipping". Hmmmm yummy. We managed to get in despite the fact our tickets were purchased for friday instead of thursday....talk about holding up the line for a little bit. Just a little. It was great hanging with Rojo, Bridget, Troublemaker, mobprod, JeffreyLobowski, obd, cedar and everyone else. (I often fuck up remembering people's names vs. onsite names, there are more to mention, just scattered in my head right now). When the show was over the music they were playing was blasphemous. They were cranking dance mix versions of Nirvana. (Dance mix Nirvana--that is just wrong!!) I believe they did this to make people move to the other bar or go home. And I was able to get up this morning and make it practically ontime to my dentist. I had to get my filthy mouth cleaned just to dirty it up again this weekend.
Tonight I'm going with foxy Rojo to see Death Cab for Cutie. And as for Saturday night, well, a slumber party that I'm looking forward to.

There is always bullshit in life to deal with but even so.....life is good right now. Feeling good.
