They call me The Clone Mom! 💚🌱💨
I am the Propagation Manager at a medicinal cannabis cultivation here in Arizona! I manage the entire department solo meaning I care for all of the mother plants as well as the clones. Not to mention, I also manage all the inventory for the entire cultivation ;) I’m busy! I work 7 days a week, but no complaints.. I’m a mama after all!
Every week I take anywhere from 700-1400 clones averaging a total of about 4000 clones a month! At any given time I usually have about 50 mother plants (more like trees!) that typically run about 5-9 feet tall hehe. I am only 5’1... so you can tell quite the difference! This doesn’t include the 20 something other moms I have preparing to grow just as big.😬 In the clone room there’s usually 2,000 in the room that I have to watch over until they cycle out and are ready to be transplanted.
In total, the grow has roughly 10,000 plants at all times. We have 11 flower rooms, two veg rooms & my lovely domain.. the clone room & mom room (:
I am responsible for keeping track of ALL of those plants throughout their journey as well as physically maintaining and caring for my own 🌱 We have approximately 40 different strains! & We are currently doing a test run of 40 others ;) We’ll see which we keep around!
I absolutely ADORE my job! I would never want to give it up. It is such a family here and I couldn’t be more in love with my little clone babies and the beautiful big mamas. I learn so much about them, they are all different! 🥰 Couldn’t imagine a better opportunity and do my absolute best to give them the love they need and best personal care to grow into some beautiful gracious buds in the end!
