I got my tongue pierced on my 21st and rather stupidly went out boozing in celebration anyway. My only concession was to eat a lot of icepops after I got it done to help with swelling. It didnt work. One of my friends reckoned it looked like a whales tongue and ordering drinks sounded like "Ig ik eh isky n oke eas". I was ok anyway and eating somewhat normally the next day so maybe the whisky helped the healing. That might be wishfull thinking
