Would you hang this on your wall?

on the way to communicate

It's the first painting I've completed in years. It's not perfect, but it does have a lot of love in it. The elements are all my favourite things about living in a Canadian city; the tall buildings, the sky, the telegraph poles, the birds, the mountains, the silhouettes and the ability to communicate with everyone and everything.

Details:

That is a real Polaroid I took today on my way home from the artstore. In total it's a mix of acrylic, pen, netting and a photograph. RIP Polaroid.

My photographs really don't do it justice. It's really difficult to photograph a painting. For a start, the sides look wonky (they're not) and the details in the polaroid photograph haven't really come out. In person the mountains between the telegraph poles are much more visible.

SPOILERS! (Click to view)

It is titled and signed on the reverse and it's a complete edition of one. It's 6x12" on canvas covered board. It can be hung as is or framed.

And you want it right? Well, all you have to do is make me an offer. Either PM me, leave a comment or email me at cherryvega@gmail.com with your maximum offer including shipping. The best reasonable offer I receive by midnight on Wednesday is the person who gets it. Simple as that! (hint: minimum offer is $60). You must be able to pay by paypal.

The profit is going towards being able to get Moira over for a visit.

I am excited to be painting again. This is the most creative and productive I have been in a good four or five years.

I would be tempted to. If I weren't about to abandon my flat in Salisbury to be left empty with the occasional visit for the next couple of years.

How are you getting on with the Mars Trilogy?
