I'm 24!
Guess what this is:
It's not an artsy attempt at a Christmas tree because it's Christmas Day in exactly four weeks. No. It's a bunch of snotty tissue. Yes... it's my birthday and I'm really sick! Blocked ears, snotty nose, sore and swollen throat, slightly infected chest, over-excitable asthma. I won't go on. Needless to say it's my sickliest birthday ever!
I put it down to attempting to do so much work in a little over a week. Silly. I actually shot 8 sets in one day during my little trip. Altogether I shot 18 sets by the end of Thursday. And I don't regret working so hard because the ladies are worth it, but I doubt I'll be attempting so much in such a short time again!
I had an amazing time staying with Phinn and her Woody in Brighton. I also got to hang out with my lovely Disco and catch up briefly with the much missed Akemi, and spend an afternoon frolicking in a freezing cold graveyard with Nic. I also met a lot of other gorgeous SGs... to mention but a few: Brit, Severity, Lolo, Dotty, Jackie, Tahliana and last and not least Dylan.
Also also, I got to meet a lot of other ladies including Kittten and Sylph.
Now I'm back home and very sickly! However, it's my birthday and therefore it won't be phasing me.
This little fella is a poppins and he was a birthday present to keep the bad dreams at bay. He's got hearts for eyes and every one of his five feet detaches so you can keep one in your pocket for good luck. He's super cute and pink and brown.
This is going to be my birthday dinner apparantly! Yum!
So, I was almost excited that it was going to be snowing on my birthday today. In the taxi on the way home from the airport on Friday it snowed a blizzard! Because I was sick I went to bed to sleep a little (after being awake all night in the airport before). Outside was beautifully white and there were huge white flakes floating to the ground...
... when I woke up it was gone. Edinburgh seems to get too warm in the afternoon for it to stay. Bugger.
Thanks for all the lovely birthday wishes <3
