That story is warming my stony (but already overheated and sweltering) scottish heart. I had a huge rant the other day about this whole Harry Potter thing. I was on the bus back from work and I was reading a goddam cookery book (which is pretty lame I know) and there were a dozen other people in suits and school uniforms, all reading some variation on the Hairy Potter theme. Some in the "adult" cover which is just wrong... it's fine and I'm sure they're fun books (I just don't get it...) but its really worrying that for a whole generation of kids and grown-ups, that is where their imagination begins and ends. Is that too harsh? Your boy on the bus is giving me hope for the future..
And super-geeks definitely. When I was a boy, I was never really geeky enough to fit in with the true geeks. How sad is that?

I'm hungry for Chinese now . I'd like some Crispy Asthmatic Duck . I would assume that they are far easier to catch than the normal healthy ducks . They try to take off and fly away but their unfortunate respiratory disorder causes them to just drop from the sky . Then some sneaky Chinese cook just walks up and tosses the wheezing waterfowl into a big sack for later use . Why the hell did I choose to go off on THAT particular tangent...who knows ? It's best not to question these things .

You're not old, girl! I've got ten years on you and I'M not old. It's just a phase. One day, you'll pick up one of those novels that you can't amke it through now and you'll fucking devour it! And, if you're like me, you'll probably binge on it, get over it, and move on to something new. Also, tastes change, has nothing to do with "gettin old", or maybe it does, but not in meaning you're OLLLLLD, you know? It's a good thing. Prgression is a good thing. I'm working my ass off for a little progression right now. My life has become stale and, youthfully , I'm dying for the next part. It's gonna' be fucking cool ass shit.

Anyhow, Someday I want to come out and visit & check out where I was born...guess my family has a castle in scottland & they have clan reunions...if I didn't have this criminal record or custody issues I would probably move to europe someplace...& hide out...who knows maybe I'll need to be on the run soon~! Would you put me up for a night on your floor??? Some people would read into this more than others but I just don't know anyone out there really & it would be nice to atleast have someone to show me the ropes there...
