Well I'm still sick, but I think I'm over the hurdle.
Lately I havn't had much choice in music. My iPod (1st generation 10g) finally kicked the bucket and my car has radio only. I used to listen to my iPod with a FM transmitter but, alas. frown
So I've been listening to a lot of shitty music and since I'm always at work or school, I don't have much time to listen at home.
Today I actually got around to putting my iTunes on random and just enjoying my collection. I've got some great shit here. As much as everyone talks about the new alt band of the month that sounded just llike the one last month, I love my classics. ,
Kate Bush, Lou Reed, Tom Waits, Ash, Gavin Friday, Portishead, Ministry, A3, The Pixies, Tori Amos.
This is not to say new music all sucks, most of it does, and most of it is pretentious as hell, but there are gems.
I just really love this stuff and I've missed it terribly.
I've been meaning to buy a cheap 2 or 3 gig MP3 player to hold me over but all my money goes to debt these days. I guess it's good though because it makes me appreciate my stuff that much more. love

I'm more in love with the classics as well. Ministry especially, saw them live and didn't get the ringing out of my ears for days. smile
