oheyy,
so i was wondering..
Am I the Only person a little annoyed with Christmas ?
I personally dont worship Jesus Christ so It has no real meaning to me or my family.
I guess we buy eachother little gifts (usually bottles of red wine! ) and have a little dinner, but I just think going out and blowing all your money on a fancy present for every friend and their dog is just silly! I think the presents thing is for children. lol Basically- I like the idea of spending Time not Money.
yeeeeea.

I have no faith based feelings about Christmas but enjoy the gathering and giving (to kids only). My kids and I (with whoever else wants to join in) have a morning and afternoon of playing games and eating, then go out for a movie and Chinese food. The youngest is 12 now, so the little kid eyes popping out of their heads time is long past, but we still have fun being childish together. We played a round of Nintendo Gamecube Marioparty 4 this year and it was a blast.

Thanksgiving is by far my favorite holiday, mostly because its about getting together and being thankful.

I've always wondered why we can't do all this stuff all the time. Instead of condensing it all into a few days of well wishing overload. The resulting meltdown can be pretty ugly. Seriously I wish we could be nice and friendly to all those we care for all the time. smile
