It took them god damn forever to get back to me about the set. I think like 2 months almost. They'll send you an email asking for your address so they can send you your shit, but geting the money and having your set put up don't happen at the same time at all apparently.
I can't send in another set until this one's in the line to be put up. They bought it, but they might not use it for a while. Bah.

ah yes, freelance design work- the reason i got into teaching wink yeah, job hunting sucks, this time around i got lucky finding a new job (which i start in january) just as i was on the verge of quitting the old one, which i woulkd have done anyways, but it's nice knowing i don't have to tighten my belt. i like my little luxuries too much, you know?

yeah, me and sofie, the swede, have been friends for about a year. it's one of those relationships that's just kind of evolved and deepened over time, and now it's like we know each oterh inside out, get each other (no one else really does) and there's just this mutual respect and that i think. . . i think all those things just make it make sense that we;'ve ended up waht we are now. and we fit. which is rare for me, i've had nothing but false-starts for the last decade, never really connected with anyone. til now.

honestly, though, i'ma bit shellshocked about the whole development into being more than friends, though. as utterly natural as it feels, it's just. . . out of the blue in a way. i didn't expect it to ever happen smile
