Ok, so I'm getting my first tattoo.
I have some questions.
1. Where should I get it?
here is the design, and it will be about the size of the image, maybe a little bigger.
Too big to post as a picture. Clickky.
I don't want it on my back.
Or anywhere I cannot see.
Being my first tattoo I want to be able to look at it whenever i can (yes, I'm one of THOSE people.)
But I feel like, putting something permanent on my body, for the first time, and putting it where I can't see it (and sense I'm doing it for myself) it seems pretty silly.
My first idea was to put it on the outside of my thigh.
But now I am leaning towards my calf, if it will fit.
Idea;s?
Moving on.
I don't think i like the words.
At first, I was adament about "dead men tell no tales" because it was soooo ridiculously piratey. But I'm having second thoughts.
So, My second question is
2. do you like the words? If not, What pirate-ey phrase(s) would you suggest, If any, and why?
Some things i don't like about it
The girl.
I love her, But i think i want her face different.
Maybe a different bandanna colour (I love colour)
and a big gold hoop earing.
What do you think about the girl?
I wanted her very pinup-ey. Because thats what I like. Very sexy and voluptuous.
She was designed to sit on the skull, But... im iffy on that. What do you think??
Please, If you DO respond to this don't reply with "this tattoo sucks. don't get it." because I like it. and its going on my body. So Nah!
But, give me some suggestions, Positive feedback, Helpful hints, tips or anything you can think of...
Or different colours to use,
or maybe something cool to add.
I'm not putting this on my body unless I am completely happy with it.
And,
also I want to get the words "mischief managed" somewhere... and i'm not sure where.
and suggestions to that?

I was thinking (if you know what mischief managed is, you'll know what this is.)
Putting "I solemnly swear I am up to no good." aand thennnn " Mischief managed."
sort of like front and back...
but i dont want it on my front.
so i was thinking
on the top of my back
I solemnly swear
and then on the bottom
mischief managed.
What do you think??

I just wasn't sure if i wanted

its a two part phrase. I was tihnking about getting the first on my upper back
and the second on my lower.
or
the first on my chest
second on my back
but i don't know. I'm still thinking about that.
I might just get "Mischief Managed"
