Let me first say, that the kinds of video games I gravitate towards are as follows: anything Mario, Sonic, crash bandicoot...these sorts....not action, not war, not anything like this, but.....
Who else has been nerding out over God of War 3??
Ya. I sure am. Josh got this on his bday, and I was like "eh, whatever." and left it at that. Well, Wednesday, when he had the game paused, I decided I was gonna check it out. He had been having trouble beating this part, and I beat it in like 30 seconds.
So then I decided I was going to play. Its been a busy couple days for me, but I have managed to get just over 3 hours of play in....
Let me just give you a run down:
-I beat the shit out of Poseidon [did anyone else think his water horse thing was too easy?]
-I made my way to zeus and that gaia bitch let me fall off mt. olympus (but dont worry, i cut her arm off later, so she crashed off of the mountain), so then I fell into the river Styx and all the damn lost souls beat me up.
-met the Ghost of Athena (who I hear I killed...this is the first GOW ive played) and she gave me the blades of exile so I would trust her.
-killed some underworld bitches and lost souls and minotaurs
-and some more killing. lots of strategy...which I like, and josh and i both refuse to look up cheats so we know the strategies beforehand, or get that book with everything in it, and I would say were making our way thru fine, even though some of those strategies are pretty tough.
-killed Helios, he was a little bitch. I wanted to hit him, but I just tore off his head. =)
-more killing and strategy.
-hermes started taunting me, so I had to chase and kill his little bitch ass too. sucker.
-and really theres been alot of killing.
there was more of course, but details, details. So thats about where im at now...i took hermes' winged shoes and im trying them out for a spin
