I don't understand why a republican friend of mine is against tightening the gift/exchange tax policy. the first 5.25 million a piece, 10.5 married, is exempt. his family doesn't have THAT kind of money but they're well off. 5,250,000.00, nobody needs that much money let alone more. 200k should be the max, do any of you need more than that to feel secure in your future?
