Had today off. They wanted me to come in for a meeting but luckily I had to pick up ms sun sick from school so I was unavailable. She was pretty pale but a day of rest seems to have helped.
I didn't get shit done really. I did some laundry and dishes. I made some corned beef because it was on crazy sale after the holiday. I didn't get any of what I made for work. I made eighty pounds and they managed to sell it all to only 36 people. Not only did that kill my food cost for the month it didn't leave me any to eat or turn into corned beef and cabbage egg rolls. If I don't snack on my leftovers I will make some for the family at least. They go well with a beer and grain mustard sauce I like to make.
The girls dug it ,even the sick one so she must be feeling better. I work the rest of the week so here's to Sunday coming soon.
Lots of life stuff going on. My little brother gad his appendix out yesterday. My other brother is waiting to see if the federal budget passes and shuts his job down, which would suck. A friend of ours has started painting the old house. The wife's dad and uncle are coming next week to help fix some of the big problems. Work has taken on an ominous feeling. I am trying to stay above it but I keep getting drug into the bullshit. I am not really worried about it but it is kind of shitty going in everyday not knowing if today is the day things snap. I have the wife's blessing to quit anytime but I would hate to let them beat me especially since I am doing my job well. Lots of huge egos involved.
