So, I am totally wiped out and so is the wife but the wedding was a total success. The forecast he'd called for rain but it held off til almost midnight at which point the party made its way to the barn. They had a great day. The hog was a great success. It was delicious and ended up cooking in about eleven hours which gave me premature of time to schwack it up. The way they wanted it served through two windows on a porch was slow but 200 people in less than forty five minutes is not to bad all things considered.

The pig. The grooms dog managed to find a great spot. There were more dogs than a freaking rainbow gathering and a twenty pound barn cat. I did it for cost and actually came in under budget. 200 people fed for $975 apps, meal and drunken snacks. I told them just to get me a cool little something. That ended up being two bottles of templeton rye, a bottle of corralejo resposado for the wife and two hundred bucks. It was cool, the rye is really good. I ended up with a mason jar full of it last night. That was after my buddy and I played about forty minute bluegrass set thankfully. It was a little rough but it was fun and people danced. The wife got spun on tequila and was asleep before we got back to town.

Tonight we went to see cloudy with a chance of meatballs two. It was cool and the girls dig it. Now I am chilling and getting ready to puff myself to an early bed time.

Fucking bears lost to the lions. I don't know how that happens but at least my middle brother will be happy. Oh well. Have fun SG.

It's my fault about the Bears, dude.
Today was the first day I couldn't watch the game and had to be at work.
That's what I told my hubby about the loss. haha
4-0 would have been sweet though. Grrr!

Oh...and...THE HOG!!!! love

Aye, it seems one can't spend more than two weeks in Wisconsin without being affected/infected with Packer fever. I grew up as a Saints' fan. Most Kentuckians, according at least to CBS, are only interested in the Bengals or the Colts, as those are the only "home market" games they'll show us mad
Thank heavens for Direct TV & Sunday Ticket smile
