The girls and I have taken to playing a no net, no rules three direction badminton. There will be no second coming of the Williams sisters in my yard but it is an outdoor activity for them and me too I suppose. Ms Sun has a different set up for every serve; sidewalk runway model serve, dainty old lady serve, tobacco chewing baseball player serve etc. The Ziz can't hit shit but she has at least gotten her back hand serve down. It his fun to watch them zoom around even if they miss most of the time. It is equally amusing for them to watch me "run" I'll give me run it's more shuffling quickishly. It is only something I would do for my kids because we live on a pretty busy street and I know that I must look like a fantasia hippo spinning around in yard swinging wildly at some invisible bird. A smile is a powerful tool.
