I feel like I'm blogging a lot for me lately. Kind of an odd time right now for me. The in-laws are gone. I think that was part of my problem. I don't sleep well when they are around because I can't do the two things that make me sleep. I have also been opening more which is disruptive sleep wise. Tonight I am off early enough to do dinner and a movie with the girls. I love my fucking wife man. Today was just a shit morning at work and she popped by with the girls after their hair cuts and it kind of snapped me out of my dark place. Ziz got bangs Grrrrr. They are really cute even if they are bangs. She was nervous to show me. I didn't realize she had been wanting them and a week or so ago she asked me what I thought of bangs and I told her they were for lazy people that didn't want to brush their hair behind their ear. That was probably her looking for permission and I didn't realize it. I love long hair and they know it but ultimately it is their head. They both look adorable for Easter.

So I went to work expecting to do battle with the exec over yesterday's bitch fit he threw at my day guys. That never materialized. However, I did blow up on some people this morning. I had to much alone time opening to build up my blood pressure and feisty-ness. The breakfast chick and my best banquet/prep guy got into it over something stupid and were chest to chest screaming and swearing at each other. I heard it getting more heated and came around the corner in my best big booming dad voice and shut them the fuck up and sent them in opposite directions like they were my kids. The look of shock on their faces was priceless. The scurried away heads down and asses clenched. They came back around later and were cool. I haven't really had to do that at this job before and I think it opened their eyes a bit. The GM is always giving me shit about not yelling at people and being so hard to piss off, it's almost a shame she missed it.

Oh, and I tried the new Turkish place yesterday. It was ok not amazing but I did get it take out so I will give them another chance dining in. The wife liked it enough to go from "Turkish delight" to "afternoon delight".
