Well I am back. We had a great time. The wife and I got to spend a lot of time together which is fun and rare. The cooking went well (a few cuts and burns aside) and people really responded well to it. It is fun to watch people enjoy eating there because growing up I always dreaded eating Quaker food. Now however my mind is about to get scrambled because I have to go from this IYM to this, quay
sofitel and hang out with crazy high strung people from my ridiculous ass job. I have returned home physically exhausted but mentally recharged and calmed. I am not really looking forward to talking about work and schmoozing. I am looking forward to chilling in a swank hotel and eating bombsy food drinking bad ass wine and whiskey. The owner has promised me good whiskey and my tongue tingles for it. He has already called me to make sure I'm coming. I imagine things were crazy in my absence. One of the guys that had a kid on the way had the kid the day I left and he is one of the best guys there for banquets. I have to leave at 6:30 am so I wont get to sleep in but I was getting up at ten til 5 am all week so it shouldn't hurt so bad.

Before I left I got my hair cut for the first time in over 2 years. She took off 4 wet inches which ends up looking like 6 because of the curl. It isn't to drastic but it feels a lot better and she trimmed up my face hair too which was sweet because I can never get my sideburns the same length. Ms. Sun went to her friends house and everyone else is in full on relax mode so I am fixin to crack a beer and join them. Have funSG.
