Finally off work. I don't have a day off til tuesday but at least tomorrow I just have to run out to a golf course and to ceviche on tortilla chips for a couple hours. The girls have been gone all week but they come back today. I am excited to see them but I have had a hell of a time while they were gone.
So for our anniversary we went down to Carbondale to see an old friend and just get out of town. We had a great time. We saw some bands and some nature, we ate great food, we smoked some hash, we screwed under the stars you know the usual. We went to a winery and drank beer, because why not, the beer selection looked more intriguing than the wine and their food selection sucked so their was nothing to pair things with which is pretty much the only reason I ever drink wine, to match my food. One great micro brew down there was called Big Muddy, they do a few unfiltered beers I tried the wheat and the pilsner. I am a sucker for a good wheat beer and there was nice. Plain ass wheat beer without any fruit or crap in it, if I want to float an orange on my beer I will don't sprinkle tang in my beer and then bottle it up that's fucking gross(I'm looking at you Blue Moon and others). We had a great drive home without kids and chilled in our new big ass chair.
i also found a new wedding ring. I cant get a better pic than this right now because I am exhausted. The wife will take me a good one later .
Friday night the wife bought me a banjo while I was at work. It is just a cheap one but I can't even play the fucking banjo so as long as it stays in tune well it will suit my purposes. The lady that owned it named it Ned.
So meet Ned, he is also sitting in the aforementioned big ass chair.
So my boy TreeThingBlue has a pic in his new blog of his new hair cut and shave that makes him look 15. Here's is a pic of my bedraggled ass. We are the same age. Truth be told he is older than me by a few months I think.

I wrote this little song for the wife on the banjo. I can't play the banjo like a banjo but it's kind of cute. She liked it.
