I didn't get a lot done today but it was not for lack of trying. I spent the day trying to locate and update my resume. It was no where so I had to dig out the old computer and get it off there. Then of course I couldn't get it to open on the new computer. I have finally got it on the new computer but it is formatted beyond my comprehension. This is all being done sans pot because I am trying to quit for a bit in case I have to get a job that requires that I pee. Needless to say, frustrating couple hours this afternoon. Now I have to wait for the wife to come home and clean it up for me so I can start blasting it out. There are a few jobs in town that would work but I don't hold out much hope. I never get the corporate kitchen jobs, not that I usually want them, I think because of my hair and my size. I wouldn't mind one of those jobs now though because I would like a day job at this point. I want to go to the girls school functions and when the band starts playing out I need to be off in time to be the opening act so by 8 at the latest. Those jobs are like finding a unicorn so it will take some time.

Tonight is Ms. Sun's theater performance. It will be a bunch of monologues, her's will be from Sandra Bullocks character in Practical Magic. Something about love and blah blah blah. She is super excited but a bit bummed because only the Ziz and I can come. The wife has a test in class and my mom has people coming to dinner so we will cheer loudly and I will try to video it with the camera. As is tradition in our family performers get to chose dinner, I hope she chooses well.

The wife graduates in May but she is down to her last two weeks of class. I am so psyched for her. She really stuck to it this time. I am planning her a party but it is the day before Mothers day which is a pain in the ass. Also her relatives are a pain in the ass. Part of today I spent driving around checking out a list of hotels they sent so I could tell them which one would be best to stay at because last time they ignored my suggestions and booked a shady place by the high way. Her Aunt and Uncle that sent the list are also who pays for her school so I don't mind doing a little leg work for them but it is hard to find a cheap hotel close to our house where he will feel comfortable parking his bad ass Lexus that cost more than my house. The only thing I miss about working at the Double Tree was $35 rooms for visiting family.

I have installed my new pickup on my guitar. Not permanently but functionally and it sounds great. This week we were working on the acoustic set so I didn't get to try it out but next week will be the test. If I can use it with the full band as rowdy as that is I can use it anywhere.

Well, I have a date with the theater so I will bid you all "later days".
