Good weekend. We had a friend up yesterday and today. It is always good to have company especially this guy, just a really good guy chock full of things to talk about. He brought his dogs one of which is a pug and I think he my have gotten my wife interested in getting a little dog to go with the big one. She usually hates little dogs but this one got her and of course the girls fawned all over all the dogs.
Work is getting busy already which is great. Unfortunately the kitchen at the church I cook at in the summer got totally "f'd in the a on saturday" when a pipe broke in the kitchen and shot water in, on and through all the equipment on the line. It killed the electronics in the convection oven and rusted the old cook top. They think it had been going on for a couple weeks since they don't use the building much in the winter. Flooded everything pretty good. So now I get to pick out new line equipment once we see what the insurance pays for. One kind of shopping that I love is shopping for kitchen toys. It is also cool because I hated the range that was there and the ovens were useless.
The Patsy Cline impersonator was a good act with a great band but, she didn't really sound like Patsy at all. She got the words right but she didn't have any of her vocal qualities. The geezers danced there wrinkly old asses off. Even the ones that were too cheap to pay and just hung out in the bar.
The wife is out with another headache so, I am toasty and alone watching top gear and bull riding with an occasional check of SG. I got a few new friends last week. That is always cool but I am barreling dangerously close to fifty friends. That will be quite a milestone when it happens.
