So, I had a pretty good Sunday. Since we managed to keep the house cleaned this week we were able to do dick all yesterday and it was great. Got up and played with Wii with the girls for a while. We ate Indian Buffet which was awesome. It has recently changed to a indo-mexican place whatever that is. The only change so far is that they put up more decor and some of the streamers have maracas and sombreros on them but I haven't seen taco one since they changed names. That suits me fine because there Indian food is great and I already have a favorite Mexican place or two.

I suppose that I should give a nod to VDay. The wife is not a fan. I always get her a small token as I will not be the jerk that doesn't get his wife jack all on VDay. It is he same thinking that made me insist that her engagement ring have diamonds in it even though she is not into diamonds. I could have found her what she wanted and she would have been happy but at the time eight couples we know were getting rings and I would have her friends talk shit about my ring. Last year I found what she was looking for , three amber stones on a plain silver band and she has replaced her engagement ring with it. If you remember last year and the rodent purchase I made for the girls. That was a bit of a disaster since the little one got ringworm out of it and the pig ended up having it for months and required two trips to the vet.. While they are all fine now, and she is loved by the girls, i will not be doing that anytime soon. This year they got clothes and madlibs.

The job is going well. My VDay special menu was well received. My new cooler will be functional tomorrow. No more digging through a trailer for my food.

The wife has been having a rough time at work and just had a lot going on (like quitting smoking, which didn't really happen) but she has managed to channel some of her frustration energy into sexual energy and been super fun for me. The shit that drives her nuts about her job like petty backstabbing and general bitchery is why I stay in the kitchen. Not that I am immune to that but I have the luxury of shutting down and just cranking out food. If I don't talk much for a day people just leave me alone and go about their day.


I have been listening to this in the car for the last week. the whole Isaac Hayes collection really. What a smooth mofo.
