I probably never mentioned it on here but last year my house was broken into. Even though he managed to touch and or throw on the floor everything that we owned by the time that we got it cleaned up he really only got away with about fifty bucks in change my daughters allowance again about fifty bucks and mt dad's old lap top. Not much of a haul but he left all the instruments and jewelry except for a bracelet or two. He also left his entire palm print with all five fingers on the side of my house on the window he broke to get in. Since he was on probation for doing the same thing up north they were in the system and they arrested him three days later. That was pretty amazing, we didn't get our crap back, but the instant satisfaction was cool. Today we were notified of his sentence 14 years! That is insane! 14 years for less than $500 worth of stuff. We also made a point of not seeking any restitution, why try to get money out of a guy that is all ready so broke he smashed my window to get my change jar. We were awarded $900 worth of restitution. The wife is tweeked by it a bit, she doesn't want to be the reason this guy spends 14 years in jail. I told her that he was on probation for doing the same thing to someone else so his sentence is essentially doubled since his probation was revoked and he did choose to break in to our house which has to be considered a poor choice on his part. Still, 14 years is too long for what he did and it will probably only be 7 but that's still a long time.

On a happier note I told ms. Sun that we are taking our trip she is psyched. She bounced and sang all the way to school. The wife will enjoy her one kid time as well. The sibling rivalry is not terrible but splitting attention between two tiny divas can be taxing. I checked on the midwest party plans again and it seems like they are looking @ a date in june. It would be fun to meet some people. I haven't been able to talk any of my friends into joining SG yet. I may just buy a couple gift subscriptions.
