Today I am raising a Guinness to my Dad. He would have been 58. He loved a Guinness and a braunschwieger sandwhich on rye with white onion.
Today I did a little side catering, 70 for lunch, before going to work. I cooked a christmas party for a bank. I was a little suprised but I guess they have to spend our bail out money on something since they capped ceo salaries and shut down the bonuses. They had duelling piano players they took turns playing and singing. They were cheesy as hell but they knew a shload of songs. They took suggestions on slips of paper and I didn;t see them turn any down. Country, rock, folk, jazz even a little blues. It was very Fabulous Baker Boys.
I am looking forward to two days in a row off. It is rare and I intend to take advantage of it. Alas no Bears in the playoffs. Peace.
