My holiday company is all gone. A great time was had by all, but it is nice to have my house back, even if my furnace is acting up tonight. I need to find a new hvac friend mine moved a couple of hours away. Tonight the space heaters will have to suffice. The girls will be warm as well as the pipes. This season of family and decadent food has left me a little better insulated than I was before and I was pretty well insulated already. Maybe even I could use a couple days of salad. Every one that comes to see us has a list of foods they want to have while they are here. My brother in law needs chicken fried steak, my buddy wants biscuits and gravy for breakfast and curry for dinner. My brother came with a turkey, duck and leg of lamb for me to smoke while he was here. All of the cooking I wasn't doing at work I made up for at home. It is soooo much better cooking favorites for the ones you love.
