yeah, I think you're right. That OWGT version sounds a lot better, and the band looks cooler, but I wanted all the clips to be live, so I had to go with that version. Oasis rules, love 'em to death. Even if they are jerks, for the most part.

I've hated July 4 since I was about 17 -- I was arrested by MPs on a military base for possession before the fireworks show. Being handcuffed on the one day when we're supposed to be expressing our liberty made me very skeptical about things like freedom and patriotism, and stuff.

You know I thought it odd the other day as I was at Giant and viewing all of my salsa options and I thought "damn, Cheech always had excellent taste in salsa. If he were only here now to help me pick it out". It's really too quiet without you around.

May I recommend the movie "The weeping camel" if it is ever available for rent at the library. Good docudrama.

It's always amazed me how people in some cultures squat all the time. And it's no big deal to them. They don't use chairs. Just really cool to me how comfortable they seem to be, squatting. Kinda makes me jealous.

Man, I'm still stumbling around the new format like a regular "newb", but good to see you're doing well across the country. Portland sounds like a good time- wish I was there. I'm thinking about an eventual cross-country journey, but I've sworn to go to New York first. If I stopped planning all these dinky little trips, I'm sure I could swing it financially.
