God, I was almost as sick last night as I was two Saturdays ago... you know, when I didn't go to work and had to bail on the Raveonettes show with DCQ?
I woke up at 3. Hot as hell. Aching. Thirsty as hell. Couldn't sleep. I know at least part of this was taking Vicks cold medicine because I had a sore throat yesterday... but I mean shit- I felt like hell.
I went to work anyway, because I was just working the morning, then taking time off to go to the govt. center get the (delinquent) decal on my car changed.
As for why I was suddenly sick again, all I can figure is: 1) some weird combination of effects of the crap I was taking (Vicks, ibuprofen, some herbal junk which I returned to the store), 2) I actually have developed some kinda allergies that I've never had before... which would mean doctor's appointments and crap.
Anyway, I'm gonna go see Lez Zeppelin with drjmd tomorrow. $14 is a bit pricey for a cover band, but I do feel like Zeppelining out anyway.
I made some ridiculously difficult pool shots tonight, but then missed some easier ones.
This is ALL YOU MISSED by not being around me today!! Jealous?
ps - One of my Favorite Song Moments Evor is that part in "Come On" by The Verve when Richard goes, "This is the big..... FUCK YOU!!! This is the big.... FUCK YOU!!!!! CAAHHMMMNNNAAAGGGGHHH!!!!!!" but then how could it not be?
