I'm OUT of THEMES
but I had a great old time last night at honorable MELT-BANANA with Boygeorgeismymom and BitchOBGiMM! I liked the opening band too, An Albatross. They were like an outofcontrol thrashcore band with two synth players. I woulda bought their CD but all CDs were $10 and I had bought beers, so I got Melt-nana stickers instead. As for 'nana, for some reason the cruddy soundclips I'd heard on Amazon made them sound all synthesized/ bad, so I thought I wouldn't like them. Actually, they were a throwback to my days of Voivod and Kreator records in high school, only of course they're more grindcore (I guess is the term?) than that. They even did a barely-recognizable cover of "Uncontrollable Urge" followed by 10 15-second songs (I'm not exaggerating). I like the longer songs better (as in, 3 minute ones) but it was fun how they knocked them off like that.
Also, I've been listening more to mix CDs by my Friends (it's the least one can do, right?) so Antimony/Isadora, Mikael, and ebin, figured you should know yours are getting heavily rotated... I need to get to my Estrada/ WhiskeyFightPit ones too...

Email is still on it's way, I promise... been writing it over the last few days. And editing it. And re-editing it. Sometimes my words are no good.
Plus, I've been working a lot. Hopefully the week after next will be a little calmer.
