The Cheech NUMBERS and Stats

Okay, lame Journal... but:

1) I just noticed that I've Journaled every day this month except multiples of 4, i.e. I missed April 4, 8, 12.

2) I'd been noticing that I have 100 people on my Friends list (which of course has grown and shrunk over time)... but it seems like holymackerel is gone (I presume Eden is not), so it seems the next Friend I add will be #100... at least for a while.

3) Anybody notice I've gone over 10,000 Comments recently? I'd meant to celebrate except.... well, should I? Does this mean I pop off pseudoexpertice a lot? In my defense, I've written but then deleted-before-posting a few Comments that either made no sense, were in-jokes to myself, stated the very obvious, re-stated someone else's point, or were just poor, muddled arguments... I'd guess 120 Comments worth. If I really was a typing-equivalent-of-bigmouth, we could well be in the 20,000 range.

4) I'm on my fourth car-portable-CD-player. The Aiwa I got for Xmas worked about 4 years. The cheap Audiovox I replaced it with lasted for about 2 weeks. The Sony I replaced it with lasted about 6 months. I got a Panasonic, and was pretty much forced to buy another Sony car attachment set, which cost almost as much as the Panasonic player ($30 vs $40).
I, of course, looked for an Aiwa but couldn't find one.

5) I traded in vinyl records for $22 yesterday. I found Portishead's Dummy in the cheap bin for $4.99. The store owner let me have it and $20, so I got the CD for $2 including "tax." It seems okay; I still don't like "Sour Times," but it's overall okay.
