Yeah, so I hadn't mentioned yet on this site (a while back on LJ), and might as well continue from yesterday like... it's theme Journals week. The finer things in life: 1) ...Beaver. 2) Nebraska.
Next week, I'm going to Omaha, Nebraska to get tutoring, or a seminar (I dunno exactly what it is) on ReferenceUSA, a database which is kinda an address/ phone look-up, but more versatile than that... like, you can put in the SIC codes for a type of business and a ZIP code/ city/ area code and use it as a yellow pages for anywhere in the country... or uhh instead of a SIC code, you can just use keywords like a yellow pages. Also, you can specify to see a business headquarters so you.... anyway, you get the idea.
It's weird- they're paying for the whole thing. They asked what airport I wanted to go out of, bought round-trip tickets, pay for a hotel, give transportation to and from the airport. I dunno if they're picking up any cable-porn bills or the mini-bar. One can only hope. Hookers? I should think so! This is a business trip, after all.
No, seriously; I'm not going to get hookers. Or cable porn. As for the mini-bar... well, I wouldn't mind getting a buzz on, at least.
I guess I just bring it up to mention that I'll be in Omaha for a night, and have a stopover in Memphis Intl. Airport.... so if anyone out in Omaha or Memphis is dyyying to meet me, or if anyone has any advice on where I can get a good blowjI mean have a nice time in Omaha, lemme know. I doubt I'll be able to go anywhere but the hotel (I dunno which hotel yet)... anyway, that is what I am doing on 4/20/05- 4/21/05!
