Aww, I missed Eddie Money's birthday! It was March 2nd.
What's your favorite Eddie Money song? Mine's... "Shakin'", or "Two Tickets to Paradise," perhaps.
...well, nobody noticed the intelligent post (except klaire); I have to try another direction.
I have now watched a lot more "Adult Swim" then I had before- 3 episodes of Aqua Teen Hunger Force in two days, and Sealab 2021 and Tom Goes to the Mayor.
I don't understand much where the "aqua" or the "teen" come into it... nor are they really a "force" as much as I thought, since they hadn't been fighting crime (but rather... just behaving quite badly)(but that's fine; crimefighter cartoons are bleh), but they seem to be hungry a lot. The S2021 appeared to be the last episode, since everyone died.... but maybe this is a Kenny-in-Southpark type deal?? TGttM was great. I really didn't enjoy the one episode of Mr. Show that I once tried to watch, but this show was really.... obnoxious, weird, and ridiculous in a good way.
I enjoyed the Lewis Black bookstore appearance last night, which I wrote about in the DC and Daily Show groups (the two groups that would likely care about such thing), and I also broke down and bought the semi-best-of album from Yo La Tengo, Prisoners of Love, for the rarities, although I hadn't heard all of the other songs, it turned out... and I got a cool late-'60s/'70s African rock CD- Love's a Real Thing. From initial listens in the store, seems quite bongoey and freaky and tuneful enough to... pull my daisy.
