I want to TRIBUTE a couple folks. First, I got leeh's book/ manuscript in the mail. I love it. It's everything I like in a story/ book/ movie: credible characters and situations, a full range of emotions, good dialogue, and things that make you think about your own life and the world.

Secondly, it's no secret Brookelynne is one of the great people on here. When I was down, she noticed, cared, and sent a lil note along, or two even, a few weeks ago and here is one of them:

It is great to have folks here who care about you, and such a bonus when they are talented to boot, such as writers, musicians, actors, visual and crafting artisans ...it's even great when they are just regular old sods and charming local hosers (hiding their talents, as far as one knows so far?).

I didn't mean to turn this into a big TRIBUTE THING, but what the hell, I have nothing better to do and I ♥ the folks above, and most of whoever would read this. So I guess the message of the day is, uh... love and positivity? I thought I was supposed to be supremely bummed nowadays... Well, I'll run with this Journal anyway; it's already written.

1/24 ps - Ehh, I feel kinda sickly again! Damn. I mean, I dunno if I really am sick or what, but I gotta work tomorrow for realz. We're short-staffed... I didn't get to really write to folks tonight. I was watching a movie/video that was in the donated-items bin that I was going to send to tattoosandwhores but the picture is shaky (guess that's why it was in the donations :^/ ) so I will have to complete her surprise package another way (the movie was The Dinner Game, btw t&w, a nice little Fronch comedie). I actually have just bought a few lil surprises for folks... but don't be too impressed. We're talking like $1 items... but hey, they are secret gifffs, so that's nice.
