Not much going on immediately... but I should update.
I'm so bloated from lunch, I feel like Jabba the Hutt after a bakery binge...
Tonight I'm going to a play, Lend Me a Tenor, so I hope that'll be good. The Alexandria Little Theater had been excellent in the last couple years, with great versions of The Mikado and the Marx Brothers' Cocoanuts, but the last couple shows I've seen have been merely okay.
I got my ticket for the Cashore Marionettes show in a few weeks. If you're wondering "Why go to a puppet show?" well 1) they're marionettes, not puppets, 2) do Images-Google on Cashore Marionettes. They look really cool. The show is billed as "for ages 8 and up," so there must be some... mature theme or something. I hope the marionettes don't get hurt or I might cry.
Oh and uhh I guess I'm going to see coldenginelogic and JuneCleavage and maybe go to a SG Philly-like thing. We will likely start a The Warriors-like gang... based around, umm... a gymnastics theme. "The Furious Gymnasts."

love to go to shows but not too many offered around here. love small venue theater.
i suppose marionettes are petty cool but really only familiar with punch and judy. just now thinking.... a marionette burlesque show would be pretty funny to watch and i imagine pretty cool.
