Okay, here's the truth...
When I did my "tribute to Baltimore," all 5 seconds of it, I wasn't even sure if Parker Posey really was from Baltimore. For some reason I had it in my head that she might be, so I put her down... and as for Calvin & Hobbes creator Bill Watterson, I literally had no idea where he was from... I was just waiting for someone to yell at me, "Parker isn't from Baltimore!" or "Bill Watterson's from Dallas!"
Well, it turns out I must've learned somewhere that Parker Posey actually is from Baltimore. She moved to Mississippi at 12, went to school in North Carolina, and dropped out of S.U.N.Y. to join As the World Turns on TV. She was roommates at college with Sherry Stringfield. (My fave college roommates story is that David Lynch roomed with Peter Wolf from the J Geils Band; Lynch thought that Peter was "weird.")
Bill Watterson is neither from Baltimore or Dallas, but was born in nearby Washington DC! Like Alyson Hannigan, he was born in DC but moved away when he was very young... in Watterson's case, home was Chagrin Falls, Ohio.
I hope I've made up for my deceptions, if anybody umm really noticed them. I would talk about the movie I watched tonight except that I got sick of it and turned it off. Trash by Morrisey and Warhol. It is ....um... a great movie if you like watching junkies nod off, and Warholians babble endlessly (Kikka, I think it'd even tax your patience in this regard)(who'm I kidding, Kikka's not around right now).
