Had some good times lately. Holiday movie night at philippe's (Emmet Otter's Jugband Christmas, Bad Santa), small Les birthday party, a lot of trading of booze and stout for presents... lots and lots of music, as I've still be picking up library CDs even though I have too many, and while I'm still abit overwhelmed by the FAST passage of year-end time, things have been going well, feeling peaceful.
I've been reading your Journals, but with time at a premium I haven't written a lot to folks on here. Also, I am kinda preparing for the separation. Some of you I'll see elsewhere, some I won't see again. That's not something I'd like to see happen, but I have to be realistic. Maybe I'd come back for some reason or other. I don't think so, and I'd kinda hope not unless this site goes back to the ....I dunno if there's even a word.... the spirit, the energy, some respectable word for "vibe".... it would have to get back a lot that it isn't going to. Like I said, have to be realistic. I'm more pressed for cash nowadays; if I had the jack I've had the last few years, perhaps I'd linger and linger on.... maybe it's a blessing not to. Maybe it's progress to move on. Maybe it's temporary. Maybe, maybe, maybe is all I can say. If I can't successfully choose between Corey Dillon and Marion Barber or Marty Booker and Isaac Bruce in fantasy football, I sure as hell can't tell you what I'll do throughout 2007, or how good this site is for the long-haul.
I can tell you that it's good to change things up and see how they go.
