I've got a bad-ass cold going on. Cold, flu, whatever- when you get a handful of crappy symptoms, it's all the same. I had to work anyway, since... I get no sick leave, or annual leave, or any leave. At least my fever and headache seem under control from ibuprofen.

Last night went to Pirates o t C 2 with howdypardner. We hadn't hung out in a bit, and it was great to see her, a de-light. I can see people's complaints that the movie isn't as personality-driven as the first, that there's less funn dialogue; it was mostly about the action... but it's hard to judge either way, since it's really serving to set up #3, as people also told me. It should've been shorter, mostly. About 2 1/2 hours. 20 minutes could've been zapped.

Friday night, went to a quietish evening at Mikael/ Les's. I guess I've been fighting these cold symptoms for days. Decided to not go to Joan Jett/ Eagles of Death Metal, gonna miss a great karaoke chance with brokenbeatnik tonight, sadly. Yeah, and I really DO want to drink and sing, and see him... but I'll have to wait at least a night or two. Being sick and not gettin much sleep has me feeling rough as crap.

Sorry this entry is so boringly autobiographical and factual. I will try to make up scandalous junk next time. Ah, my kale is steamed. Time to kick back, imbibe lots of vitamin C, and watch NFL.... still, shame about missin the beatnik. Here's hoping for Tuesday.
