I wasn't gonna do this. Really. I mean, I know my Journal's been the height of dull for a while now.... but I'm going to do it.
How can I get my sound back up? I mean, I know I have sound hardware in the PC, and I need to download "sound drivers," but I can't see what type of sound card thing I have in here (my PC is currently sitting with both sides opened up, and I've looked a whole bunch) to see what I need from the sound drivers website. I hesitate to start unscrewing more parts to look around because I don't know what I'm doing.
This week has been a real fuckoff. Maybe I'll go eat breakfast and watch soccer tomorrow.

edit, a few minutes later- I've decided that I have to add something, anything, to this Journal. So I'm going to sit here and think of things:
1. Okay, I like Devotion by John McLaughlin a lot. It's the kinda album I'd really like to make, only with a lot more horrible-noisy effects on the guitar. Like, more effects, and maybe a bit more Zappa "Rat Tomago" and Hendrixing.
2. Anthony Bourdain is coming here next Wednesday! Apparently, he was at the last Saturday market, so maybe he's in town for this whole time? Anyway, gotta go see that.
3. There is apparently free NORSE EVIL METAL at the Acme club tomorrow night. Granted, I'm more inclined to a) get up early tomorrow and watch Germany play soccer, b) get up early and see pygmy Saturday, if possible, at the market, than go for NORSE SATAN METAL, as I am no more into NORSE DEATH METAL than EFFEMINATE DAINTY TWEE, but the kicker is they are going to provide little paper churches for audience members to burn... hey, that's what it says in the paper... and I haven't burned anything in a while, so...?
4. If you go to a Lebanese place, it prob makes more sense to buy (cheaper) foole m'dammas than (more expensive) Italian calzones, cuz it might kinda garlicy, and it's a Lebanese place, for god's sake.
5. It seems like the more stuff I get, and the more time goes by, the less "finished" my apartment is. I of coursse moved in on May 15th, and it looks kinda like May 16th still in here.
6. Some people are going to open up their Bookmarks while I type this, and they're going to miss out on ALL THIS stuff, while you all have not. Aren't you lucky??
7. I keep forgetting over and over that the rollerderby is in season and taking place Saturday night... yes, I know I'm not forgetting NOW, but I have been forgetting this week. So I hope I remember to go... maybe having this haggered Journal up will help.
8. My horoscope said I should ask people to baby me this week. Yeah, that'll work.

not always. I went to a tanning salon and had an airbrush tan done, and it wasn't orange at all. I dont know about the stuff my mom got though. If it turns out orange on her, Im certainly not going to use it.
