2/19 non-update update below
Updating to say- there's no real update. I'm just in the processes of car-buying, something I've never done before, so I'm reading up on car models and car buying processes, terminology, bullcrap.... I'm also gonna talk to relevantswitch about the car sell biz, since he knows it well.
You might already know I'm planning a cross-country move, and that I'm unemployed, and no job is set up. Yes. Well, I got to thinking about how long my '94 is going to last, what with its several current problems, and the answer is- not. So, even though I have little leeway monetarily, I'm car-shopping.
This ^ is obviously a really fucking boring Journal; now you know why I haven't updated.
Oh, and my computer is fucked again. Popups and shit are happening, despite Google toolbar, ZoneAlarm and such set to not allow them. I've upped the protection settings, deleted temp files, yet shit is going on. Something is infected on here, despite many "no virus" scans by ZoneAlarm. Anyone come my house, fix my compy, free, please??? k thx
expect real, nonshitty Journal here- approx 2-4 days

2/19- I finally began watching some Olympics. Cross-country skiing, bit of hockey, speed-skating, and curling. I love curling. I think it's on tomorrow morning, too; lucky me not working!
I've chosen to go with the Scion x-Box. The boxy van. I said before to dharmabox (he's not a van) that I didn't really care about looks; reliability, price, and MPG are my main three things, and comfort is nice to, and this odd-lookin thing has all of those. relevantswitch tells me I'll be getting librarian babes in it because it's unique; I HAVE my doubts. Anyway...
Getting into the car-buying process has made me a bit edgy. Moderately edgy... bordering on a lot edgy. It's not that I think it's a bad idea, it's just an expensive item. It also sort of makes me buying into commercial society, taking on a debt. (College loans were a debt too, and a 1-year apartment lease was sorta "big money," but this is different.) I guess I am not going to live in the wilds as a hunter-gatherer... not that I was primed for that... it's just a big expense, is all.
I could go on about edginess, but hey, it's bed-time.
I've read all your Journals; I just don't have the time or proper mood to Comment now. (I generally always read them.)
