2 QUESTIONS to answer
1. Do you have an album that you like although it's really not catchy and there's no real standout song?
I was listening to one last night. I drag it out sometimes, especially now when I'm unemployed and looking to move, and things like "taking up space" and "trading in for cash" come into play.
It's Live in London by Amon Dl II. What happened to Amon Dl I? I dunno... I'm sure AllMusic would tell you, and mike_blacklisted knows. It sounds like: Sabbath in 1973, only someone's replaced Ozzy with Robert Fripp and Geddy Lee's sister on vocals, and they've been given some leftover Tales from Topographic Oceans charts and told to make something heavy out of it.
...with all the good and bad that implies, the "heavy," "Fripp," and "Sabbath," but also the "Geddy" and "leftover." It's kinda funn to listen to, but meanders like crazy and never does anything with a hook... which is kinda neat, but also kinda blah at the same time.
Also, they're German; they don't just use the umlauts to be silly.
2. Should I make some mix CDs for mikael and Les now if I'm still a little sick? I mean, it could spread germs. That was the question I was gonna ask yesterday. I need to send Whiskey a book I bought in Portland, too; that I can just kinda wipe with towelettes.
